SOLD! Aurelio Costarella pink beaded full skirted dress - Size 1 (8)

This dress is very ladylike - I always thought I could wear it to the races.
It has a beautiful beaded top, fitted bodice, completely full skirt (you can twirl!!) and pockets - which I always love in a dress!!!

Again, this has been worn only once, to a wedding. Gorgeous, feminine and also fun, I think this is a perfect dress for weddings as well as the races.

No proper pics of me wearing this one unfortunately, so will use a few I've cobbled together...

What am I doing...?

I have a problem that I'm sure many women have.

I've grown tired of looking at some of the beautiful frocks in my wardrobe, which - post-baby - I either don't fit in to, or don't have glamorous, beautiful occasions to wear them.

So, rather than weep into my knitwear and jeans (and now workwear) every time I look in my wardrobe I've decided to see if I can find them good homes.

I may add to this as I go, but for the moment I have some formal outfits for sale. All hardly worn - some only once, for a few hours, and at the most 4 times.

They're all in very good condition - dry cleaned etc.

Aurelio Costarella - Black 'tuxedo' dress - Size 1 (8)

This is one of my favourite dresses of all time. I've worn it the most out of all of these frocks, but it's still in pristine condition.

I don't have any great pics of me wearing it unfortunately - the best is below.

Purchased on sale for $500 (originally $1500). Will sell for $180 o.n.o.

It is 100 per cent silk, and has the most amazing full skirt and detailing on the bust, and at the back.

Apologies for the fuzzy picture with my mum - it's the best front on pic I have of myself actually wearing it.

Aurelio Costarella plum strapless dress - Size 1 (8)

This one came in a lot of different colours - a good friend of mine has it in this amazing pink!

This is a dark plum - hard to see properly in the pictures. I've only got one pic of me in it unfortunately - and it's with the man, Ray Costarella, himself.

This dress is worn only once - to the Hopman Cup ball a few years ago. I was walking to the bathroom at Crown and spied Ray across the hallway....swallowed my nerve and asked him for a picture!

This has a beautiful, structured top and floaty skirt...

Again, Size 1 (8). Bought for around $300 (Can't remember exactly - I know it was on sale at the time as I bought it late in the season).

Sass and Bide Wonderlust - Size 8

Gold sequinned mini with cream overlays.

Worn once to a ball. Stretchy fabric underneath the sequins.

I don't have the size tag on it anymore, but is a size 8 equivalent.

Rachel Gilbert Black/silver beaded dress - Size 1 (8)

Low cut black top, with beaded waist and flowing knee length skirt.

The back of the dress is beautifully cut-out, and has beading on both shoulders.

Worn this dress twice only - bought it to wear to my hen's night, and then wore it again later that year to a ball.

Size 1 (8). Bought for around $400 (can't quite remember). Will sell for $120 o.n.o

Sass and Bide Sounds of Silence silk maxi - Size 8

Gorgeous Sass and Bide white mini, with chartreuse silk overlay.
There are a number of ways to tie the belt, and use the overlay.

I saw this dress on a girl at a wedding and loved it. Didn't know who made it, and then a week later saw a girl wearing it in the social pages, and it was identified as Sass and Bide. I tracked it down online and handed over my cc details....

However, I bought it for the life I wanted, not the life I had, so it only got one wear in Singapore on a very fun girls night out.

Again, no tag left on it, but is size 8 equivalent.
